20.12.2011 - Christmas is fast approaching and the year changes from old to new. What have we done all year? The first half of the year went by slowly with great anticipation and expectation for the summer. As the warmer days came and school ended, first grade was over. Summer was full of birthday parties and fun swimming. Our little princess came to the world. Both Faye and Ian were so excited about their little sister. We were all amazed.

It was also time for lots of visitors. Cousins from Oulu were here and joined the parties. We also had a visit from family of our friend from Canada. And then the most waited for, a visit from grandpa from the Philippines! Lolo as we call him, got to meet his grandkids in person for the first time. Then we had families from Belgium coming over for Ellie's baptism. So the summer from beginning to end has been filled with one interesting event after another.

Autumn had our feet in the air...we travelled to Belgium and Copenhagen. Then back to routines as the days grew shorter. While waiting for snow...seems we are still waiting...skating and swimming has become a regular routine for our weekends. And we decided to stay put for Christmas this year. :-)

01.10.2011 - So, it is now October, last update was a few months ago. Since then a lot of things have happened. Most significant of all was Ellie's arrival in July. she is now exactly three months. Below some new pics or our little princess Ellie Kate. :-)
